Dickerson Farm is located on Churchtown Road adjacent to Summit Airport. The nearest intersection is Mount Pleasant at the junction of Route 896, Route 301 and Churchtown Road.
Dickerson Farm has ninety-one homes and no vacant lots. There are open spaces designated along its border line with Churchtown Road with evenly spaced sycamores, the island with bradford pear trees initially leading into Dickerson Farm, the traffic circle with a large douglas fir tree in the center. In addition, there is a multi acre open space along East Dickerson Lane, opposite West Dickerson Lane which has several trees and cut grass.
This community has its own management service named Dickerson Farm Service Corporation with volunteer residents in all functions. It collects $150.00 per household on an annual basis, which is used for the grass cutting, plantings and snow removal. The snow removal cost is also supplemented by the State of Delaware.
The residents in the neighborhood have sponsored occasional holiday activities, such as: summer picnics, Halloween and Christmas parades.
